In Port-de-Carhaix, hiking trails and rivers mix up, making this place an unmissable green-tourism-place.
In this idyllic setting for greenness-seekers, where foliages sing, Mr Sobry reorganized a former school in 2009. His aim was to turn it into a halt in order to welcome hikers and bikers passing by. The covered playground became a dining room and classrooms became dormitories.
After giving a disabled access to a dormitory in 2010, Mr Sobry renovated a house which was located below the halt. His plan was to convert it into two rooms for couples. According to the host, every hikers don't necessarily want to share a dormitory with people they don't know.

Today, severalhighlights proceed in harmony with the high season: the long holiday week ends in May, the Vieilles Charrues festival in July, when large groups of volunteers seek this type of accommodation, and the biking tournament of Les Roc'h des Monts d'Arrée, in September.
In order to make the high season last longer, our host decided in 2014 to develop an offer for horseriders, who are here a bigger part of the year. With this aim in mind, Mr Sobry built a closed space with boxes.
Finally, in 2016, Mr Sobry created for visitors with low budgets a natural campsite area.
